Melissa Vongpunsawad

Melissa Vongpunsawad has a range of experience in the product development and design field. Melissa is currently working at Shinola as a Senior Product Development Manager, where they oversee the development of various products. Before this role, they were a Product Development Manager of Watches at the same company. Prior to joining Shinola, Melissa founded their own company, MID Co Detroit, in 2015. Melissa worked there as the Founder. In a previous role, they served as the Design & Development Manager at Mouawad from 2011 to 2014. Melissa also has experience as a Showroom Coordinator at Joey Showroom from 2010 to 2011, and as a Design & Development Coordinator at JEROME in 2010.

Melissa Vongpunsawad completed their high school education at Troy High School from 2002 to 2005. Melissa then pursued higher education at Michigan State University, where they attained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Textile and Apparel Design. This educational journey took place from 2005 to 2010.
