Charles Hamel

Charles Hamel is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in DevOps and software engineering. Currently serving as Principal DevOps Engineer I at ShipBob, Inc. since June 2018, Charles has held multiple leadership roles including Director of DevOps and DevOps Architect. Prior to joining ShipBob, Charles contributed to Uptake as a Senior Software Engineer In Test, where notable achievements included architecting a CI pipeline and developing a scalable dockerized selenium farm. With prior roles at Echo Global Logistics and PCMI Corporation, Charles has consistently focused on enhancing testing frameworks, improving CI/CD processes, and mentoring peers in best practices. Charles holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Software Engineering from DePaul University.
