Carol Brandel

Carol Brandel, SHRM-SCP, has extensive work experience in the field of Human Resources. Carol is currently serving as the Head of People Operations at ShipHero, a position they assumed in September 2021. Prior to this, Carol held the role of Vice President of Human Resources at TransparentBusiness from November 2020 to September 2021. Carol also has a significant tenure at Alta One, where they held various HR positions. Carol served as the Director of Human Resources from April 2019 to November 2020, as a Human Resource Business Partner from September 2016 to March 2019, as a Human Resource Generalist/Coordinator from January 2015 to August 2016, and as a Shared Services Associate from May 2014 to December 2014.

Carol Brandel, SHRM-SCP, completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Social Sciences Interdisciplinary with a focus on Cognitive Science and a higher-level mental processes concentration from the University at Buffalo. Carol attended the university from 2012 to 2014. Prior to their studies at the University at Buffalo, Carol also obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in General Studies from Erie Community College, where they studied from 2010 to 2012. Additionally, Carol Brandel obtained the SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from SHRM in May 2022.
