Smrutha Ipparthi

Smrutha Ipparthi currently serves as the Chief Technology & Product Officer at Shipt, having held various leadership positions within the company since May 2021, including Chief Product Officer and VP Engineering. Prior to Shipt, Smrutha was the Chief Technology Officer at Arteza for a brief period in late 2020, expressing enthusiasm for the team and mission. At Macy's from June 2017 to April 2020, Smrutha led engineering efforts for the mobile app, marketing, and merchandising, significantly contributing to the app's year-over-year growth. Smrutha also served as VP of eCommerce at MGM Resorts International from July 2011 to June 2017, overseeing the launch of an innovative enterprise platform aimed at enhancing guest and employee experiences. Smrutha holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Bharati Vidyapeeth, obtained between 1988 and 1992.
