Lauren Fancote

Lauren Fancote is an experienced event planning professional with a diverse background in coordinating civic and ceremonial events. Currently serving as a Visitor Centre Officer for the Shire of Ashburton since January 2023, Lauren previously held the role of School Officer (Casual) at North Tom Price Primary School from May 2023 to April 2024. Prior experience includes a significant tenure as a Civic Officer at the City of Perth from September 2011 to April 2022, where key events coordinated included Australia Day Citizenship Ceremonies, the 2018 Commonwealth Games Queen's Baton Relay, and various City receptions. Lauren also worked as a Civic Functions & Ceremonies Officer at the City of South Perth from 2009 to 2011, planning annual civic events. Previous roles include Event Coordinator at Agenda Bar London and WA Event Facilitator for CPA Australia. Education was obtained at Central Institute of Technology.
