Yi-Chi Lu

Yi-Chi Lu is a Senior Process Engineer at SHL Medical, specializing in production strategy and estimations for the US site factory since August 2021. Responsibilities include conducting machine capacity assessments and optimizing tool utilization strategies in the molding area. Previously, as a Process Engineer in Data Strategy, Yi-Chi performed data mining and analysis for factory planning master data and estimated the required machinery and equipment. Prior positions include Assistant Planner at THI Consultants, where Python and MySQL were used for API integration and database management, and Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Maryland, focusing on incident clearance time prediction for traffic management systems.
