Nicholas Bruno

Nicholas Bruno has a strong background in information security and IT risk management. Their most recent role was as a Member Board of Advisors at Cyberstarts in 2024. Before that, they served as the Chief Information Security Officer & SVP of IT at SHL starting in 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Chief Information Security Officer, VP at SAI360 from 2021 to 2023 and at Monster from 2019 to 2021. Nicholas also held positions as the Director of Security and Privacy at Philips from 2016 to 2019, the Director of Information Security at Endurance International Group from 2015 to 2016, and the Chief Information Security Officer at Continuum Managed Services, LLC from 2013 to 2015. Nicholas began their career as a Security Engineer\Team Lead at bcgi from 2005 to 2007, and later worked as the Head of Information Security\Risk Management at EMD Millipore, Chemical Division of Merck KGaA \ Millipore Corporation from 2007 to 2012. Throughout their career, Nicholas has demonstrated expertise in creating and implementing information security strategies, managing risk, and ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.

Nicholas Bruno earned a Master of Science degree in Network Security from Capitol Technology University from 2002 to 2005. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a focus on Management Information Systems and Operations Management from Salem State University from 1998 to 2000. In addition, Nicholas has obtained several certifications, including Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from ISACA in 2013, Certified Chief Information Security Officer (C|CISO) from EC-Council in 2012, and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in 2005, among others.
