Douglas Nickerson

Douglas Nickerson is an accomplished compound developer with extensive experience in the field of chemical engineering. Currently serving as a Compound Developer at Shloop - The Shoe Loop since June 2023 and as a Consultant for Doug Nickerson Compound Consulting since September 2022, Douglas has previously held positions at Timberland from February 2015 to September 2022, where contributions included serving as both a Compound Developer and Associate Compound Developer. Early career experiences include a research assistant role at the University of New Hampshire, focusing on synthesizing vanadium oxide and measuring catalyst efficiencies, as well as internships at Freudenberg Sealing Technologies, where Douglas performed chemical testing and defect analysis, and Freudenberg-NOK Sealing Technologies, focusing on engineering change requests and rust studies.
