Michael Machiah

Michael Machiah has worked in various roles in the web development field since 2015. In 2015, they worked as a Freelance Web Developer for Rustmedia, and was also an intern at Thom Meredith Design, where they collaborated in the creation of responsive Wordpress websites and email templates. In 2016, they worked as a Freelance Web Developer for i2/startup, Florian Meisenberg, and Brooklyn United, where they developed the website of the Onassis Foundation USA. Michael also attended General Assembly's twelve-week full-stack JavaScript based bootcamp, and worked as a Freelance Front-End Engineer for BCG Digital Ventures. In 2018, Michael co-founded SHO.ai, a SaaS based brand platform with the mission to bring beauty and clarity to the world through design and development.

Michael Machiah has obtained a variety of degrees and certifications over the years. In 2007, they completed a High School Post-Graduate Year at Interlochen Arts Academy, majoring in Violin. From 2008 to 2009, they attended the University of Miami Herbert Business School and obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Business Administration and Management, General. In 2009, they also obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) from the University of Glasgow in Business Administration and Management, General. From 2009 to 2011, they attended The American University of Paris, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in International Business. From 2011 to 2012, they attended New York University, obtaining a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Music Business. From 2012 to 2014, they attended UCL, obtaining a Master of Science (MSc) in Industrial/Organizational and Business Psychology. In 2016, they attended General Assembly, obtaining a WDI, Fullstack Web Development. From 2019 to 2021, they are currently attending the University of Pennsylvania, obtaining a Master's degree in Computer Science. Additionally, in 2013, they obtained certifications in Action Type from Ralph Hyppolite & Bertrand Théraulaz and Hogan Assessments from 3 Minute Mile.
