Gene Jefferies

Gene Jefferies has extensive experience in mental health counseling, currently serving as an Elementary Day Treatment Therapist at Shodair since June 2020. Prior roles include Military Family Life Counselor at Magellan Health, Counselor at Nevada Urban Indians, and Licensed Professional Counselor for multiple organizations such as Va Health Care Systems and Somerset Academy Charter Schools. Gene's expertise spans dual diagnosis addiction treatment and school-based counseling, along with providing solutions-focused therapeutic services in various settings. Gene holds a Master of Science and an Education Specialist degree in Mental Health Counseling from Florida State University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Brigham Young University.
