Angie Brawdy

Angie Brawdy has had a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and organizations. Angie currently holds the position of VP, Human Resources at Shoe Carnival, Inc., where they have been since 2012. Prior to this role, they served as the Senior Director of HR & Organizational Development at the same company. Angie has also held the position of Director of Compensation & Benefits at Shoe Carnival from 2012 to 2019. Angie's involvement in the community includes serving as a Youth First Board Member and Advisory Council Member at Youth First, Inc. Angie has also been a member of the Membership Advisory Council at SHRM from 2016 to 2017. Angie served as the State Council Director for the Indiana State Council for Society of Human Resource Management from 2012 to 2015. Angie has worked as the Manager of Compensation Administration at Springleaf Financial Services and as the Benefits Manager at Shoe Carnival. Angie has also been involved with IN SHRM as a Director-At-Large and Director-at-Large. Early in their career, Angie held positions at the University of Southern Indiana as the Sr. Manager of Benefits & HRIS and the Manager of Benefits & Compensation. Despite having a variety of responsibilities and roles, Angie's expertise primarily lies in human resources and organizational development.

Angie Brawdy obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Southern Indiana, where they studied from 1989 to 1993. Angie later pursued a Master's in Business Administration with a focus on Business Administration at the same university, completing their studies from 1995 to 1999.
