Jason Saunders has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Jason is currently the CEO & Chief Data Scientist at KLĒR since April 2016. Prior to this, they co-founded Shop Controller in 2012, where they served as the Chief Technology Officer.
From December 2002 to November 2012, Jason worked at Martella Management Systems as the Director of Operations. In this role, they managed the operations for AAMCO Transmission Centers, handling budgeting, payroll, and sales projections. Jason also motivated the sales force to meet sales goals and trained managers and mechanics on company procedures.
Before that, they were a Product Manager at Racer PC from August 2000 to December 2001. Here, they designed a product line of PCs, peripherals, and bundled software, and developed manufacturer relationships to increase market development funds.
In their earlier career, Jason worked as an MDF Program Manager at Insight from January 1999 to August 2000. Here, they built and supported database tools for the Market Development Funds program for IBM and trained sales reps on the importance of utilizing MDF funds for sales opportunities.
Overall, Jason has held various leadership roles and has a strong background in data science, technology, operations management, and product management.
Jason Saunders received their Master of Engineering (MEng) in Statistical Process Control from the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University from 2006 to 2008. During the same period, they also pursued an MBA in Business Administration and Management, General from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.
