Avi Ashkenazi

Avi Ashkenazi is an experienced design leader, currently serving as the Head of Design for Managed Markets and Store Localization at Shopify since March 2022. Prior to this role, Avi held various design and product positions at iwoca, including Head of Design and Product, and played a key role as Founder and Chief Product Officer at 2PAx, which revolutionized seating efficiency in the hospitality industry. Avi's professional journey includes significant contributions at Samsung Electronics as a UX Manager, where the multiroom speakers category was introduced, and at Deutsche Telekom as a Staff Product Designer. Earlier experience encompasses roles at stromatolite and Superavi, along with academic involvement as a Design Lecturer at john bryce education. Avi holds a Master's degree in Interaction Design from Goldsmiths, University of London, and a Bachelor's degree in Interactive Design from the Holon Institute of Technology.
