Shane McCormack

Shane McCormack has worked at Shopify since January 2018, starting as a Senior Technical Support Specialist and later promoted to Manager - Technical Merchant Support. In this critical role, Shane provides merchant-facing support while also collaborating with internal stakeholders. Shane is proficient in troubleshooting tools like Splunk, SQL, and GraphQL, and is familiar with front-end technologies and RESTful APIs. Prior to Shopify, Shane served as Deputy President at UL Student Life, representing the interests of over 13,500 students. Shane's advocacy and support efforts included liaising with student support services to ensure high-quality services for all students.
