Trent Strong

Trent Strong is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering for Growth at Shopify since August 2022, Trent previously held several key positions at Reddit, Inc., including Senior Director of Ads Engineering and Senior Engineering Manager for Ad Serving & Ranking from March 2017 to August 2022. Prior to that, Trent was the Head of Engineering at Projector Group and co-founded Pareto Inc., specializing in supply chain network optimization software and consulting. Additional career highlights include software engineering roles at OkCupid Labs, ichange, and Laserfiche, as well as serving as a Research Assistant at Texas A&M University, focusing on high energy nuclear theory. Trent Strong earned a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Texas A&M University.
