Jayesh Shewale

Jayesh Shewale has over 15 years of work experience in the field of software quality assurance. Jayesh currently works at Shopmatic as a Principle Engineer, Software Engg QA, and Product Specialist since April 2022. Previously, they held the position of Director of Quality Assurance, Scrum Master, and Requirement Analyst from May 2021 to March 2022 at the same company. Prior to that, Jayesh worked as a Software QA Lead and Scrum Master at Shopmatic from May 2018 to April 2021.

Before joining Shopmatic, Jayesh was a QA Manager at UrbanPro.com from April 2015 to April 2018. In this role, they were responsible for scoping the product features, test planning, task allocation, execution, and issue/risk management. Additionally, they conducted weekly review meetings, collected metrics, and prepared test summary reports.

From January 2011 to March 2015, Jayesh worked as a QA Test Lead at WellDoc Software Pvt Ltd. Jayesh was responsible for leading the QA team and ensuring the quality of the software products.

Prior to that, Jayesh worked as a Senior Quality Analyst at Safran Engineering Services from June 2008 to January 2011. Jayesh gained experience in software quality assurance and analysis.

Jayesh started their career at HCL Technologies in May 2006 as a Member Technical Staff. Jayesh performed requirements analysis, test scenario design, execution, bug reporting, and verification of hosted applications.

Jayesh Shewale obtained their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electronics from the University of Mumbai, where they studied from 2000 to 2004. Jayesh also holds additional certifications, including being Scrum Master Certified (SMC) from the Scrum Alliance, which they obtained in February 2019. In addition, they have an Embedded Software Certification from ISM, which they obtained in February 2005.
