Ivo Mrena has gained significant work experience in various roles and industries throughout their career.
Starting in 2006, Ivo co-founded a sports product distribution company called Movement s.r.o., where they were responsible for purchasing and distributing brands such as K2skis, Adio, and Plan B. Ivo held this role until May 2010.
In 2011, Ivo worked as a Junior IT Administrator at VŠEM s.r.o., gaining experience in IT administration.
From 2012 to 2014, Ivo joined MADE BY VACULIK, initially as an Account Executive, where they handled client accounts for T-mobile CZ, Czechdesign, and Dobrý anjel. During the same year, Ivo founded QUB Digital for Cleverlance Spol., combining the worlds of IT and digital advertising. Ivo served as the Head of QUB Digital until December 2016.
In 2017, Ivo joined Home Credit as the Head of Digital - Innovation center, gaining valuable experience in the financial sector and fintech innovation. Ivo remained in this role until January 2018.
From March 2019 to February 2021, Ivo worked as the Group Head for ŠKODA AUTO at Peppermint digital s.r.o.
In 2017, Ivo also became a business owner of Tulipskate.cz, operating Tulip Skate Store and its associated online platforms.
Most recently, Ivo joined Shoptet in February 2021 as the Group Product Marketing Manager. In January 2022, they transitioned to become the Country Lead for Slovakia, and in 2023, they were promoted to the role of Chief Marketing Officer.

Ivo Mrena attended the College of Economics and Management in Prague from 2011 to 2015, where they studied marketing. Ivo did not obtain a degree during this period. Prior to that, their education history includes attending Obchodná akadémia in Trenčín, although specific dates or areas of study were not provided. In addition to their formal education, Ivo Mrena obtained a certification in "Design Kit : The course for Human-Centered Design" from IDEO.org in February 2017.
