Jan Voracek

Jan Voracek has worked as a Staff Software Engineer and Software&Infrastructure Engineer at Shoptet, starting in 2020. Before that, they worked at VersionPress as a Software&Infrastructure Engineer and Software Engineer from 2013 to 2019 and as a Contract @ Shoptet from 2020. Jan also worked at agilio.cz as a Web Developer from 2012 to 2013 and as a Freelance Web Developer from 2006 to 2013. Additionally, they worked at Effectix.com as a Web developer from 2009 to 2011. Jan briefly worked as an Analyst – contract at CN Group CZ in 2013. Jan'sexperience includes developing web applications using technologies like Node.js, Azure SQL, jQuery, C#, Entity Framework, WCF, and PHP.

Jan Voracek earned a Bachelor's degree in IT from the University of Pardubice, starting in 2008 and graduating in 2011. Jan then went on to earn a Master's degree in IT from the same university, starting in 2011 and completing their studies in 2013. Prior to attending university, Jan attended VOŠ OT a SŠ Štětí to study IT - hardware, software, and networking from 2004 to 2008. Jan also holds certifications in web application development from David Grudl and IT essentials in PC hardware and software from Střední odborná škola Štětí.
