Lois Smith

Lois Smith is currently employed as part-time bar staff at Shorefield Holidays Ltd since June 2021, managing bar operations during peak periods and assisting with food service and maintenance. Previous roles include retail assistant at Morrisons and lifeguard for Dorset Council UK, alongside experiences as a swim instructor and children's activities coordinator with Places for People. Lois also volunteered at St. Mary's CE First School and Nursery, focusing on reading skills development, and served as an education mentor at Ferndown Upper School. Additional experience includes working as a shop assistant/barista at Gullivers Farm, which supports adults with learning disabilities, and a brief work experience in the sales and marketing department at Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd. Lois is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology at the University of Exeter, building upon a solid educational foundation that includes study placements at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and the University of Mannheim, as well as A-Levels from Ferndown Upper Sixth Form.
