Sarah J McKenzie

Sarah J McKenzie has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of education. Sarah J began their career at the University of Warwick as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, teaching English Literature undergraduates. Sarah J then joined Harlaxton College as an Assistant Professor of English Literature, where they designed and taught literature courses for American undergraduates, specializing in Shakespeare and British history. Sarah J also served as the Chair of British Studies and organized Shakespeare conferences for students.

Sarah later worked at the University of Evansville as an Assistant Professor of English Literature, teaching various classes and assisting with Study Abroad programs. Sarah J then became the Chief Academic Officer at CEA CAPA Education Abroad, responsible for academic leadership and management.

Sarah J later became the Senior Manager of Academic Affairs, responsible for developing and implementing academic policies and curricula across multiple university partners. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Academic Operations Projects at Shorelight, supporting campus teams with strategic planning and the development of academic success projects.

Sarah J McKenzie pursued their education in the field of literature, focusing on early modern literature and specifically death and inheritance in that era. Sarah J completed their Bachelor's Degree in English and American Literature at the University of Kent from 1990 to 1993. Following that, they went on to pursue a Master's Degree in Early Modern Literature at the University of Warwick from 1994 to 1995. Sarah J McKenzie's educational journey culminated with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Death and Inheritance in Early Modern Literature, also from the University of Warwick, which they completed from 1995 to 2003.
