Colleen Lamotte

Colleen LaMotte is an experienced educator and curriculum writer currently serving as an Elementary Curriculum Writer for OpenSciEd, focusing on the development of 3rd grade science units since May 2022. Colleen also contributes to OpenSciEd as a facilitator and represents Region 10 for the Washington Science Teachers Association since August 2022. Prior to these roles, Colleen worked as a Middle School Science Teacher in Shoreline School District since August 2017 and previously in Edmonds School District from March 2004 to June 2018. Colleen holds a Master of Teacher degree in Secondary Science Education and Teaching from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Western Washington University.
