Mark Almond

Mark Almond has extensive work experience in the pest control industry. Mark started their career at Seddon as a Construction Plant Engineer and worked there from 1984 to 1990. Mark then joined Rentokil Initial as a Pest Control Service Technician from 1990 to 1992, before being promoted to Senior Surveyor and eventually becoming a Senior Surveyor from 1992 to 2009. In 2009, they joined Shorrock Trichem Limited as the Head of Pest Control and Innerclean Services, and later became the Director of Pest and Innerclean Services. Mark was responsible for setting up the pest control division, developing a customer base, and managing dual service and sales teams to facilitate growth in the industry.

Mark Almond has a diverse education history. In 1978 to 1983, they attended Fred Longworth High School, where they obtained O Level qualifications in Maths and English Language, as well as a CSE qualification in Physics. Mark then pursued further education from 1986 to 1989 at Moston College in Manchester, earning a City and Guilds degree in Construction plant maintenance and repair skills. In 2015, Mark attended the National Duct Cleaning Academy for an induction and initial training course in Kitchen Canopy and Exhaust Duct Cleaning. Additionally, they have obtained certifications such as British Pest Control Association Level II and Royal Society of Public Health Level II, both in 2012.
