Muhammad Faisal Aslam, FCCA, CIA, FMVA has extensive experience in finance and accounting. Muhammad Faisal's career began in 2006 when they joined KPMG as an Assistant Manager in Audit & Assurance. During their time at KPMG, they were responsible for handling the portfolio of clients in Pakistan and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In 2009, they joined IBEX as a Financial Controller. In 2013, they moved to TRG - The Resource Group, Pakistan's largest IT company listed on NASDAQ, as Financial Controller. Muhammad Faisal's responsibilities included management of the offshore finance department, implementation of internal controls, monitoring compliance of software revenue recognition, and treasury management. In 2018, they joined Rocket Internet SE as Group Head Financial Reporting for Middle East Internet Group. Muhammad Faisal's duties included consolidated financial reporting, financial & management reporting packs for technology startups, working capital management, and investor relations. Currently, they are the Chief Financial Officer of ShortPoint, managing the finance function for an investment holding company in the US and operating subsidiary in UAE. Muhammad Faisal's duties include assisting the founders and CEO, maintaining relationships with investors, audit & compliance, monthly management reporting, assisting with legal matters, technical accounting matters, and preparing pitch decks.

Muhammad Faisal Aslam obtained their Bachelor of Commerce - BCom from Karachi University between 2001 and 2004, majoring in Accounting and Finance. Muhammad Faisal then obtained their ACCA from ACCA between 2004 and 2008. In 2014 and 2015, they obtained their Certified Internal Auditor from IIA-The Institute of Internal Auditors. Finally, they obtained their Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst (FMVA) from Corporate Finance Institute\u00ae (CFI) between 2020 and 2021.
