Joe Bai

Joe Bai has held various roles in the technology industry over the past two decades. In 2001, they were the Director for COLT Telecom Group. Joe then moved on to become the President of JoeBai.com, a company providing information technology consulting services, from 2001 to 2003. In 2003, they became the CIO of WorldWinner.com, where they stabilized, enhanced, and streamlined their revenue-critical, skill-based Internet, pay-to-play game platform. From 2006 to 2007, they were the CIO/CTO of FUN Technologies, PLC. From 2007 to 2010, they were the CIO/CTO of The Carbon Neutral Company. In 2010, they founded Circumventive, a company focused on egress. From 2013 to 2015, they were the Solutions Architect for Continuum Managed Services, LLC, where they developed a new, cloud-based line of business. From 2015 to 2017, they were the Senior Solutions Architect for Apliant, a company focused on improving the way insurance works. Finally, from 2017 to 2019, they were the Principal Solutions Architect for Siroonian Technologies, Inc. In 2019, they became the Chief Technology Officer for ShortStaf, a mobile application that connects party and event Hosts with on-demand hospitality and event workers.

Joe Bai completed their high school education at Pine View School between 1975 and 1980. Joe then went on to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Physics at the University of Florida, which they completed in 1982. In 1987, they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physics from Duke University. In 2006, they earned a Private Pilot degree from Executive Flyers, and obtained a Private Pilot SEL certification from the FAA that same year.
