Linz Yuque

Linz Yuque has held various roles in the design and UX space since 2008. From 2008 to 2011, Linz worked as a Lead Product Designer and Front End Developer at the Parliament of Canada, followed by Manager of User Experience and Design, and Officer of Graphic Design and Online Channel Management at Canada Post Digital Delivery Network (UX) from 2011 to 2016. In 2016, Linz moved to Momentive.ai as a Senior Product Designer (User Experience), followed by Senior HCI Engineer / User Experience Designer at Illumina in 2018. In 2019, Linz was Lead Product Designer (UX Engineer) at PetDesk, and in 2021 they held the role of Partner and Director of User Experience at Good Laundry Co and Staff Product Designer at Shopify. Linz is currently in the role of Principal Product Designer at Flexbase and will soon be the Head of Design, UX at Highlight.

Linz Yuque has a Bachelor of Technology in Human Computer Interaction from HackerYou College of Technology, an Advanced Graphic/Web Design degree from Canadore College, and a GED from Valor Academy of Leadership-High School. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications from various institutions, such as a Certified User Experience Designer (CXD™) from Akendi in 2018, CSS: Advanced Typographic Techniques from lynda.com in 2013, JavaScript and JSON from lynda.com in 2013, Dreamweaver CS6 from Eliquo Training & Development Inc. in 2012, XHTML/HTML from Eliquo Training & Development Inc. in 2012, CSS from Eliquo Training & Development Inc. in 2012, Strategies To Enhance UX from Nielsen Norman Group in 2012, and First Aid/CPR C from the American Red Cross in 2005.
