Philip Kuruvilla

Philip Kuruvilla is a seasoned Lighting Designer and Programmer with extensive experience in the live events industry, currently self-employed since January 2006. Current projects include drafting for D23 events such as Marketplace, Pixar Putt, Princess Lego, and Chase Summit. At ShowPro Inc., Kuruvilla serves as a GrandMA3 Programmer for high-profile events such as the 2024 Official GRAMMYs Celebration and the 95th & 96th Academy Awards Governor's Balls. As a GrandMA2 Programmer and Designer with Encore, significant contributions have been made at the Beverly Hills Hilton for events like the American Society of Cinematography Awards. Through Radiance Lightworks, Inc., Kuruvilla has worked on major projects at Universal Studios Hollywood, including the Super Nintendo World Grand Opening. Additional freelance programming experience includes projects at Warner Brothers World Abu Dhabi. Kuruvilla's educational background includes OSHA Compliance Training from the University of South Florida and studies at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
