Kayley Grieves took the Area Manager for South and East Yorkshire position in December 2017 and looks after the FlyDSA Arena, O2 Academy, York Barbican and Rotherham United among many others. In 2021 she manages the entire Yorkshire area including Leeds and York.
Kayley became a Showsec Supervisor at Lincoln’s Engine Shed in 2011 after graduating with a degree in Criminology from the University of Lincoln. For over a year, Kayley worked as a Door Supervisor at venues across the East Midlands and developed a passion for the crowd management and security industry.
After working at Download Festival in 2012, she gained a unique insight into the operational and project managing side of event security and having not received this with other security companies, Kayley placed her loyalty in Showsec. She embarked on and successfully graduated from Showsec’s bespoke Management Development Programme.
Kayley progressed to Leeds Operations Executive and for a number of years, she managed the area’s largest clients which included the Harrogate Conference Centre, Leeds City Council, and first direct Arena. She is also working towards a Foundation Degree in Crowd Management.
Kayley’s career highlights include project managing Leeds Sky Ride (2014-2016), assistant project managing Creamfields (2014-2016) and taking on Head of Security for the MOBO awards hosted at the first direct Arena in 2017. Kayley is also Head of Security at Tramlines Festival.
