Mike Akram

Mike Akram is a seasoned software engineer with over 15 years of experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as Lead Software Engineer at Showtime Networks Inc. since October 2012, Mike specializes in developing microservices using AWS, Spring Boot, and various other technologies including Groovy, Java, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch. Previous roles include Senior Software Engineer at CentralPark.com and NearVerse, where Mike created innovative applications for iOS and Android platforms. Mike co-founded BYTECLUB.COM, a multi-player gaming company, and also held senior engineering positions at Tribeca Tables LLC and BigfootInteractive.com. Mike holds a BA in Computer Science from Hunter College and a degree in Culinary Arts from the Institute of Culinary Education.
