Virginia Lazalde-McPherson

Virginia Lazalde-McPherson serves as EVP of Business Affairs at Showtime Networks Inc. since February 2019. Previously, Virginia held the position of Global Head of Business Affairs for YouTube Originals at Google from January 2016 to February 2019, where responsibilities included negotiating deals and managing a team focused on original programming. Virginia also served as Senior Vice President of Business Affairs at TRUTV from February 2014 to January 2016, advising the network’s executive team on business matters. Earlier experience includes a role as Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel overseeing business and legal affairs for MTV Networks from September 2000 to February 2014. Virginia holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from UC Santa Barbara.
