Matthew Ruge

Matthew Ruge has been in the technology industry for over 13 years. Matthew started their career in 2008 as a Teaching Assistant at the College of Computing at Georgia Tech. Matthew then moved to the Georgia Tech Research Institute in 2007, where they held the roles of Research Scientist and Student Infrastructure Engineer. In 2020, they joined SHR Consulting Group as the Director of Emerging Technologies.

Matthew Ruge obtained their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology between 2006 and 2011. Matthew then obtained their Master's Degree in Computer Science from the same institution between 2012 and 2015. In addition, they hold certifications from Microsoft, (ISC)², Amazon Web Services, and CompTIA, including Microsoft Certified Professional (obtained in April 2012), Microsoft Certified Technical Specialist (obtained in April 2009), CISSP (obtained in June 2017), AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, and Security+.
