Jennifer Riley Collins is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in civil liberties and advocacy. Since April 2013, Jennifer has served as the Executive Director of the American Civil Liberties Union of Mississippi, overseeing strategic management, fundraising, and staff development. In addition, Jennifer has been the Vice President of Advocacy at the Sargent Shriver National Center on Poverty Law since January 2017, where responsibilities include leading advocacy efforts for individuals living in poverty. Earlier roles include Juvenile Defense Resource Officer at the Southern Poverty Law Center and Juvenile Justice Fellow at the Mississippi Center for Justice. Jennifer holds a Doctor of Law degree from Mississippi College School of Law, a Master of Criminal Justice Administration from Central Texas College, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Alcorn State University.
