Prakash Moorut

Prakash Moorut has extensive experience in the field of spectrum and regulatory affairs. Prakash is currently serving as the Global Head of Spectrum and Regulatory Affairs at Shure Incorporated. In this role, they are responsible for leading Shure's regulatory team and aligning regulatory strategy with corporate strategy. Prakash represents the company to regulators, lawmakers, and industry associations.

Prior to joining Shure, Prakash worked at Nokia for several years. Prakash served as the Head of Spectrum Standardization at Bell Labs and the CTO Industry Standards Group, where they led Nokia's engagement on spectrum standardization and policy work in various regional and international groups. Prakash was also responsible for defining and executing Nokia's spectrum strategy and leading the global spectrum team.

Before their time at Nokia, Prakash held senior positions at Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN), where they established NSN as a trusted partner of the FCC and played a key role in defining NSN's spectrum strategy. Prakash also worked at Motorola Labs and Motorola Networks, where they served as a Technical Team Leader and managed projects related to spectrum usage.

Prakash started their career as an intern at Motorola Labs, where they conducted research on inter-system coexistence simulation. Prakash designed statistical tools to study various inter-systems coexistence issues.
