Justin Hiza

Justin Hiza serves as the Vice President of AI & Data Services at Shutterstock since January 2014, overseeing a team of over 100 engineers across various technical domains including data engineering, machine learning, and content management. Prior to this role, Justin held several positions at Shutterstock, including Senior Director and Director of Data Platform, where responsibilities included managing operational aspects of significant data platforms. Justin previously worked at Beatport as Director of Data Services and MySQL DBA, where portfolio management and data infrastructure were key focuses. Early career experiences include roles as ScrumMaster and Product Manager at Buzzwire and Corporate Express, respectively. Justin holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Colorado State University and is pursuing an MBA at the University at Buffalo School of Management.
