Milton Brown

Milton Brown, MD, PhD, FNAI serves as the Prudence and Louis Ryan Endowed Chair of Research and Professor of Internal Medicine at Eastern Virginia Medical School since August 2022. As Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Trocar Pharma Inc. since March 2018, Milton Brown is involved in pharmaceutical development. Additionally, Milton Brown is a Co-Founder and Board Member of Shuttle Pharmaceuticals, Inc., and held the position of Professor of Advanced Studies at George Mason University from June 2020 to July 2022. Prior roles include Deputy Director at Inova Health System, Director of the Center of Drug Discovery and Professor of Oncology at Georgetown University Medical Center, and Associate Professor with Tenure at the University of Virginia. Educational achievements include an MD from the University of Virginia School of Medicine, a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and a BS in Biology from Oakwood University.
