Mai Said

Mai Said has a diverse work experience starting as an Intern at IBM and Mentor Graphics in 2009 and 2010. Mai then transitioned to roles at Si-Ware Systems, working their way up from a Software Development Engineer to Senior Machine Learning Engineer, Staff Machine Learning Engineer, and currently serving as the Machine Learning Lead. Additionally, they held positions as a Research and Teaching Assistant at the Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University, and as a Teaching Assistant at The American University in Cairo.

Mai Said holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer and Systems Engineering from Ain Shams University, obtained in 2011. Mai pursued a Master's degree in Computer and Systems Engineering, specializing in GPU Acceleration of Bioinformatics Algorithms, from 2013 to 2017 at the same institution. Currently, Mai is working towards a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Machine Learning with a focus on Chemometrics at Ain Shams University, which they began in 2018. Additionally, Mai has obtained several certifications related to machine learning and neural networks from Coursera, with the most recent one in November 2021.
