Isiwat Kangwantanawat

Isiwat Kangwantanawat has a diverse work history that spans several companies and industries. Isiwat began their career as a Site Mechanical Engineer at Thai Obayashi Corporation Limited, where they were responsible for planning and scheduling mechanical and electrical utilities and equipment installation. Isiwat then moved on to work as a Teaching Assistant at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 1998 to 2000.

In 2000, Isiwat joined Hewlett-Packard Manufacturing (Thailand) Ltd as a Product Engineer, where they followed up on product issues, conducted quality audits, and assisted with tool qualification. Isiwat also held various roles within Hewlett Packard, including Product and Process Engineer, Process Engineer and NPI Program Engineer, and Lead Specialist Engineer. These roles involved managing contract manufacturers, leading teams, and ensuring smooth production operations.

Isiwat then worked at CIMB as an Assistant Vice President from 2009 to 2011 before joining Siam City Cement. At Siam City Cement, Isiwat held several management positions, including Process Improvement Division Manager, Process Improvement and IT Department Manager, Process and Operational Risk Management Department Manager, Head of Risk Advisory, and most recently, Head of Business Process and Compliance Advisory. In these roles, Isiwat was responsible for developing and implementing various frameworks, leading teams, and providing support to businesses in areas such as risk management, compliance, and process improvement.

Isiwat Kangwantanawat has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kasetsart University, which they received between 1990 and 1994. They then went on to earn a Master of Science degree in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute between 1996 and 1998. Following that, Isiwat obtained a Master of Engineering degree in Operations Research & Statistics from the same institute between 1998 and 2000. Prior to these higher education degrees, Isiwat attended Saint Gabriel College until 1987 and completed their secondary education in science at a Primary and Secondary School.
