Andrius Kaunas has a diverse work experience in the banking sector. Andrius began their career at the Bank of Lithuania as an Economist in the Banking Supervision Department in 1996. Andrius then moved on to Bankas Hermis, where they held various positions in Finance & Risk management area from 1997 to 1999. Following that, they joined SEB bankas as an Analyst in the Planning and Control department from 1999 to 2001. Andrius then worked at Sampo plc as the Head of the Planning and Control department from 2001 to 2008. After that, they served as the Head of Performance Management at Danske Bank from 2008 to 2022. In 2023, they joined Šiaulių Bankas as the Head of Data Management.
Andrius Kaunas began their education in 1991 at Vilniaus universitetas / Vilnius University, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Economics. Andrius successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 1995. In 1996, they continued their education at Vilnius University and obtained a Master's degree in Economics by 1997. After a break in their education, Andrius attended the BMI Executive Institute in 2010 and 2011 to earn an EMBA (Executive Master of Business Administration) degree.
