Maurice Mkhwanazi

Maurice Mkhwanazi has over 15 years of work experience in the mining industry. Maurice is currently the Vice President (Beatrix Operations) at Sibanye-Stillwater since October 2019. Prior to this, they worked as an Operations Manager at Sibanye-Stillwater from March 2017 to September 2019.

Before joining Sibanye-Stillwater, Mkhwanazi served as a Mine Manager at Impala Platinum from October 2016 to February 2017. Maurice also worked as the General Manager-Mines / Managing Director at International Ferro Metals / Sky Chrome from July 2012 to October 2016, and as an Operations Manager Mines at International Ferrometals of South Africa from March 2011 to June 2012.

Earlier in their career, Mkhwanazi was a Mining Manager at Harmony Gold from May 2009 to February 2011, and a Mine Manager at Pamodzi Gold from October 2008 to May 2009. Maurice also held the role of Production Manager at Anglo Platinum in 2007, and a Mining Manager position at Harmony Gold from 2004 to 2007.
