Business Intelligence Developer at SIBS

João Bento has a diverse work experience in the field of business intelligence and software development. João began their career in 2005 at RISA - Informática, Lda. as a Planner/Programmer Software and worked there until 2008. João then joined IT People Innovation in 2011 as a Software Developer and remained in that role until 2013. Following that, they joined Hovione in 2013 and held two positions: IT Business Partner - Labs from 2013 to 2015 and Business Intelligence Analyst from 2015 until 2023. Currently, João Bento works at SIBS as a Business Intelligence Developer, starting in March 2023.

João Bento has a diverse education history, with a focus on information technology and multimedia. In 2003-2004, they attended Centro de Formação Profissional de Santarém and obtained a CET (EQF level 4) in Multimedia Technician. From 2006-2007, João studied at Instituto Politécnico de Tomar, earning a Graduation (EQF level 5) in Programming Technologies and Information Systems. João then went on to Instituto Politécnico de Castelo Branco from 2008-2011 and obtained a Degree (EQF level 6) in Information Technology and Multimedia.

Throughout their career, João has pursued various certifications. In 2015, they achieved the Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA): SQL Server 2014 certification from Actual Training. João also obtained additional certifications from Microsoft, including MCSA: SQL Server 2012 in May 2015 and MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional in March 2015.

In 2015, João furthered their education in the field of business intelligence. João attended QlikView and completed certifications as a QlikView Developer v11.x and QlikView Designer v11.x.

More recently, in 2018, João pursued certifications in Qlik Sense from Qlik Sens. These certifications include Qlik Sense or Qlik View Developers and Deploy and Administer Qlik Sense.

Overall, João Bento has continuously strived to enhance their knowledge and skills in the fields of data modeling, database administration, programming technologies, information systems, and business intelligence.
