Nelson Pereira

Nelson Pereira has extensive experience in the field of IT business analysis and project management. Nelson started their career in 1997 as a Functional Analyst/Programmer at Digitalis Informática and worked there until 2000. Nelson then joined SIBS as a Functional Analyst for Product Development and Management and held that position until 2007. Nelson then took on the role of Senior Functional Analyst at SIBS from 2007 to 2012.

From 2012 to 2016, Nelson served as a Senior Project Manager and Functional Analyst at SIBS, where they were responsible for evaluating the complexity of new products, centralizing inputs from various departments, and aligning projects' scope and priorities. Nelson successfully managed projects such as designing an IT solution and business model for the cardless withdrawal solution MB Way.

Currently, Nelson is the Director of Demand & Development at SIBS Romania, a position they have held since February 2022.

Nelson Pereira holds a Master's degree in Business Intelligence - Integrated Systems for Decision Support from ISCTE - University Institute of Lisbon, which they obtained between the years 2006 and 2007. Prior to that, they also obtained a Master's degree in Management Information Systems, General from Escola Superior de Tecnologia de Setúbal, which they completed from 1995 to 2000. In addition to their formal education, Nelson has also earned various certifications in areas such as Architecting and Designing J2EE applications, Corporate Spanish, Design Thinking, ISO/IEC 2000 Foundations, Java 7 SE Fundamentals, Java SE 7 Programming - Level 2, Project Management Fundamentals, and Software and User Acceptance Testing. The institutions from which Nelson obtained these certifications include Sun Microsystems, Instituto Cervantes, OOm Pte Ltd, GALILEU - Especialistas em Formação, Oracle, GTBC, and Learning Tree International.
