Rui Breia

Rui Breia has over 12 years of work experience in the field of system administration, middleware development, and software quality assurance. Rui started their career at NOS SGPS in 2004 as a Software Quality Assurance professional and worked there for 4 years. Rui then joined Altice Portugal in 2010 as a Software Quality Assurance specialist. In 2012, they joined SoftINSA as a Senior Software Tester for Portals and later took on the role of Integration Application specialist for TIBCO at Galp Energia. In 2014, Rui joined Novabase as a Middleware Developer for Websphere and TIBCO, where they worked on various projects for clients like NOS and UNITEL. Rui is currently employed at SIBS as a System Administrator for TIBCO, responsible for the administration of BW 6.6.1 and BW 5. Rui has extensive experience in TIBCO applications and tools such as TIBCO Administrator, Designer, and BusinessWorks. Rui is also skilled in using Oracle, SVN, and Dimensions for version control and databases.

Rui Breia began their education journey in 1998, where they enrolled at Universidade Moderna de Lisboa. Rui pursued a degree in Informatica de Gestao and completed their studies in 2004.

In 2010, Rui attended Galileu and obtained a certification in 70-448: Microsoft SQL Server 2008, Business Intelligence Development and Maintenance.

Continuing their professional development, Rui obtained several additional certifications from TIBCO. In 2021, they acquired the following certifications: TCA - TIBCO ActiveSpaces, TCA - TIBCO BusinessWorks 6, TCA - TIBCO Cloud, TCA - TIBCO Jaspersoft, and TCA - TIBCO Messaging. Moreover, in 2022, they attained the TCP - TIBCO BusinessWorks 6 certification.
