Omar Messlem

Omar Messlem has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Omar has held various roles in several reputable companies.

At SICPA, they served as the Director of Strategic Business Area, Fuel Marking Solutions since 2018. Prior to this, they worked at SICPA Security Solutions SA as the Government Solutions Director from 2016-2018 and as the Senior Government Solutions Manager from 2010-2016.

In 2009-2010, they were the Key Account Manager and Technical Sales Engineer for Austria, Switzerland, and the Aerospace business at ETEL S.A. (HEIDENHAIN GROUP). Omar previously worked as the Key Account Manager and Technical Sales Engineer for the BENELUX market at the same company from 2007-2009.

From 2006-2007, they worked as an Area Sales Manager at Delta Loudspeakers S.A. Prior to that, they co-founded a startup and served as a Startup co-founder at Sun Microsystems Incubator from 2003-2005.

Omar'searliest work experience was at Gemalto S.A. where they held the positions of Technical Consultant (EMEA Telecom Business Unit) from 2000-2002 and R&D Engineer (Smart Card Terminals Department) from 1997-1999.

Omar Messlem obtained an Engineering Degree in Electronics with a specialization in Microelectronics and Signal Processing from the Institut supérieur d'électronique et du numérique. Omar attended this institution from 1992 to 1995. In 2002, Omar pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Change and Innovation at IAE FRANCE - Écoles Universitaires de Management, completing the program in 2004. Additionally, they also earned an Engineer's degree in Electronic Engineering from the Institut supérieur d'électronique et du numérique during the same period as their first degree.
