Ray McDonald

Raymond McDonald is an experienced information security professional currently serving as a Principal Consultant and virtual Chief Information Security Officer (vCISO) at SideChannel since August 2021. Prior to this role, Raymond held the position of Senior Director of Information Security and Deputy CISO at DICK'S Sporting Goods from February 2013 to July 2021, where responsibilities included managing Information Security Architecture, Engineering, and Security Operations. Raymond also worked as a Principal Security Consultant at Zensar Technologies from January 2011 to January 2013, focusing on PCI, GLBA, and Security Risk Assessments, and was recognized as a Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) for Payment Card Industry compliance audits.
