Samantha Van Strien

Samantha Van Strien has a diverse work experience background. In 2012, they began working at McDonald's as a Crew Trainer, later transitioning to a Management Trainee role until 2016. From 2014 to 2018, Samantha worked as a Front Desk Receptionist/Administration at Redcliffe RSL. In 2019, they joined Sesame Lane Care & Kindergarten as a Lead Educator and remained in this position until April 2022. Samantha then worked at Regis Aged Care as a Front Desk Receptionist/Administration from May to November 2022. In 2023, they worked at Sidekicker as an AIN and Office Administration, and currently, they hold the position of Lifestyle Assistant and Personal Care Assistant at Rockpool Residential Aged Care.

Samantha Van Strien has a diverse educational background. In 2018-2020, they attended TAFE Queensland and obtained a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Teaching. Prior to that, in 2017, they completed a Certificate IV in Ageing Support at ARC Training, focusing on Aged Care. In 2011-2013, Samantha attended TAFE Queensland again and earned a Certificate III in Children's Services, specializing in Children's Services. Additionally, in 2012, they obtained a Certificate III in Business Retail Supervision from MEGT Training.

Looking ahead, Samantha has plans to pursue further education. In 2023, they intend to enroll in TAFE Queensland to complete a Certificate III in Business Administration. Samantha has also obtained various certifications related to their field, including Introduction to AN-ACC, Organisational Governance, Palliative Care Online Training, Respect at Work, Serious Incident Response Scheme, and The Aged Care Quality Standards, among others. These certifications were obtained from institutions such as Healthcare Australia, Australian Healthcare & Hospitals Association, ALTURA TRAINING LIMITED, and Crewe Sharp Nursing Agency. The certifications cover a range of topics related to healthcare, aged care, and supply chain operations.
