Gilles Cloarec

Gilles Cloarec has extensive experience in strategic sourcing and purchasing roles. Gilles is the Vice President of Strategic Sourcing at Sidel. Prior to that, they held the position of Director of Global Strategic Purchasing & Global Category management at Carrier from 2019 to 2023. Moving back further, Gilles worked at United Technologies as the Director of Global Strategic Purchasing for Carrier Transicold and Refrigeration Systems and as the Director of Strategic Purchasing Europe. Gilles also held various purchasing roles at Carrier Transicold Truck Trailer Refrigeration, including Director of Purchasing Europe and Categories Purchasing Manager. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Senior Category Buyer at Valeo and as a Category Buyer at Schneider Electric.

Gilles Cloarec has completed an Executive Education Certificate in Finance from HEC Paris in 2015. Gilles also holds a degree in MAI - International Purchasing and Innovation from KEDGE Business School, which they obtained in 2003.
