Marco Malavolta

Marco Malavolta has a diverse work experience in the field of IT and infrastructure. Marco currently holds the position of DT&T Infrastructure & IT Operations Director at Sidel. Before that, they founded their own consulting company, MLVConsulting S.r.l.s. Marco has also worked at Datalogic, where they served as Head of ICT Service Desk and later as Global ICT Infrastructure & Cloud Senior Manager. In addition, they have held the role of IT Infrastructure Manager at WAMGROUP S.p.A. and served as ICT Manager at Italtractor ITM S.p.A., where they were responsible for technology and telecommunication projects. Marco began their career as a System Engineer Consultant at Avanade and dataware, and also worked as a freelance professional.

Marco Malavolta has a diverse education history that includes various certifications and degrees. Marco obtained a Lead Auditor ISO 27001 certification from CSQA in 2018. In 2017, they received an Auditor certification in ISO27001:2013 from Infor ELEA. Additionally, in 2016, they earned a certification in ISO 27001:2013 - ISMS from CSQA, and another certification as an Auditor in ISO 9001:2015 from the same institution. In 2015, they completed the ITIL® 2011 Intermediate: Service Design certification from Quint Wellington Redwood. Marco also received an ITIL V.3 2011 Service Operation certification from Beta 80 in 2014, and an ITIL v.3 2011 Foundation certification from the same institution in 2012. Prior to these certifications, they completed a Sommelier degree in Wine Tasting from AIS in 2009 and an Executive Master in Project Management from STOGEA in 2007. Marco also received technical training from IBM, Microsoft, and CITRIX between 1992 and 2001. Finally, they obtained a Diploma in Ragionere Programmatore from ITCS Salvemini in 1992.
