Kerri Vermeylen

Kerri Vermeylen is a seasoned professional in legal marketing and business development, currently serving as Chief Marketing Officer at Sidley Austin LLP since September 2005, where previous roles included Director of BD and Marketing - Global Practices and Regions and Director of International Business Development & Marketing. Prior to this, Kerri held the position of Marketing Manager and Practice Support Manager at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP from January 1996 to August 2005, where responsibilities included leading a team of legal assistants and spearheading the marketing department's formation. Kerri's career began at White & Case as a Legal Assistant in the Securities and Capital Markets practice from August 1993 to December 1995, developing precedent databases and conducting market research. Kerri holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs and History from Vesalius College and pursued studies at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire from 1988 to 1991.
