Onya Edwards

Onya Edwards is a seasoned recruitment professional currently serving as a Senior Staff Recruiter at Sidley Austin LLP, one of the world's largest law firms, since February 2022. With a demonstrated focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion, Onya previously held roles as the North America Diversity Equity & Inclusion Lead and Senior Recruitment Consultant at Michael Page from November 2020 to January 2022, and founded the Diversity and Inclusion Council at Monument Consulting while working as an MSP Account Manager from July 2018 to November 2020. Earlier experience includes a position as an IT Recruiter at Insight Global, following an impactful service year as a High School Freshman Algebra Educator with City Year. Onya holds a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and Spanish from Xavier University and is pursuing additional studies in Spanish at Universidad Latina de Costa Rica.
