Leroy D. Poindexter

Leroy D. Poindexter has extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as a Key Account Sales Manager at Siemens Energy since September 2020, focusing on electric utility transmission and distribution. Prior to this role, Leroy held various positions at Siemens from 2012 to September 2020, including Key Account Manager and Senior Field Service Engineer, where responsibilities included high-level sales and commissioning of complex high voltage electrical power substations. Leroy also contributed expertise in start-up and testing of substations at Hemlock Semiconductor and served as Principal-Commissioning Lead at Contractor Support Services LLC. Earlier experience includes operating a 2x-1500MW generating power plant at the Tennessee Valley Authority from 1993 to 2006. Education includes a Bachelor of Business Administration from Bethel University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Tennessee State University.
