Mariangel Melean has extensive work experience in the energy sector, primarily in positions related to service management and operations. Mariangel started their career at Esimeca in 2006 as a Quality Control Coordinator. Mariangel then joined Dresser-Rand - A Siemens Business in 2007 as a Client Service Manager/Shop Superintendent and later took on roles as a Service Center and Field Services Manager, Lead Project Manager, and Client Service Manager/Team Lead. In 2019, they joined Siemens Energy as the General Manager of the Service Center in Houston/Geismar. Mariangel has since taken on roles as Lean Management and Process Efficiency Officer in the Compression division and is currently the Head of Global Repair Operations.
Mariangel Melean attended the Universidad del Zulia from 2002 to 2007, where they obtained a degree in Mechanical Engineering. In 2008, they enrolled at the Universidad Rafael Belloso Chacín and completed a Management degree in 2009, specializing in Gerencia. Additionally, in March 2023, they obtained a certification in the Female Leadership@Scale Program from Headspring Executive Development.
